Christ the Servant Lutheran Church is a progressive, sacramental community dedicated to living out the implications of Jesus’ love ethic. Our acronym, CTS, not only refers to our name, but also refers to our three primary tasks: to Care, Teach and Serve. 8:30 am: Morning Prayer
A service of Holy Communion is held on the first Sunday of each month and on festival days.

9:50 am: Christian Education
Children, youth and adults gather for lessons and discussions.

11:00 am: Holy Communion
We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday.

Hospitality following the 11:00 am Service
Join us for refreshments and conversation.


Conversational English
This class meets every Tuesday from 10:30 am to noon in the parlor.

Recovery Fellowships
Five different AA or NA groups meet in our classrooms, offering meeting opportunities each weekday. Check the Calendar for details.

Evening Prayer
We maintain the practice of evening prayer each weekday evening in our sanctuary:

    Anyone interested in helping to revitalize our youth ministry is encouraged to attend this planning session.

December 7
  • 6:30 pm: Soup Supper

    During Advent we share soup suppers on Wednesday evenings at 6:30, preceding our 7:30 Vespers services.

  • 7:30 pm: Advent Vespers

    Come as you are as we use the Holden Village setting of the Vespers service for our Advent worship.

December 8
  • 6:00 pm: Advent Prayer and Reflection

    Preceding daily prayer and choir rehearsal, we’ll meet at Barbara Harner's (23 Dellcastle Court, Montgomery Village) for about an hour to spend some time in prayer and reflection. The materials we’ll be using incorporate prayer beads and the use of coloring as a meditation tool. Contact Valerie Mayer with any questions.

  • 9:00 am: Leaf Raking

    Our annual leaf raking to prepare our grounds for the winter. Jjoin us! It will be fun!!!! The more people we have, the less time it will take.
