Celebrating its 20th year, Gifts of Hope now offers year round gift-giving and donation opportunities on its website

Separation of church and state has made for the strongest and freest religious practice in the whole world. When the state gets involved, someone's freedom will be denied.

Community Based Shelter

Interfaith Works’ Homeless Services provide shelter, critical case management and therapeutic programs for homeless adults in Montgomery County. Their Community Based Shelter (CBS) provides transitional housing in a shelter environment for single adult women already committed to changing their lives with the support of mental health, medical, and therapeutic programs. Many residents are involved in education and job training programs, or may have jobs. CBS provides the case management structure necessary to help residents recover and move to permanent housing. This 30-bed facility serves close to 80 women annually.

CTS provides and serves meals for the shelter one week each year. Our youth have traditionally provided dinner on Sunday night of that week. For the past several years, our tradition has been to prepare taco salad for the guests. We prepare chili ahead of time and the rest of the ingredients on site, serve the guest and join them for the meal. This has been one of the longest running service ministries for our youth and provides a wonderful opportunity for face-to-face transformational ministry.
