Lutheran Disaster Response

Find out how you can help bring God’s hope, healing and renewal to people whose lives have been disrupted by disasters.

Separation of church and state has made for the strongest and freest religious practice in the whole world. When the state gets involved, someone's freedom will be denied.

Youth & Family

Our youth are Known and Loved, Equipped and Empowered, Godbearing and Serving.

We aim to journey alongside our youth as the Holy Spirit guides them to discover their place in the body of Christ, become disciples, and discern their call to work in partnership with God.

Why Youth & Family Ministry?

Youth Ministry isn’t just about youth anymore!!!

At CTS, we don’t believe that youth are the church of tomorrow. They are a vibrant part of the living, breathing Body of Christ that we call the church. We don’t minister to them in a vacuum; rather, we cultivate a healthy, nurturing family environment in which they can discover their spiritual identity. That includes their biological family as well as their church community.

That’s why we emphasize not only Sunday School, Confirmation and other events, but also participation in worship and mentorship by other adults. And we recognize that parents need help dealing with all of the exciting new things that happen in a teenager’s life as well as how to foster nurturing, faith-filled homes.

“Every child deserves at least one or two full-time youth ministers…

Their names are Mom and Dad.”

– Pastor Charlie Kurtz
