Celebrating its 20th year, Gifts of Hope now offers year round gift-giving and donation opportunities on its website

Separation of church and state has made for the strongest and freest religious practice in the whole world. When the state gets involved, someone's freedom will be denied.

Sheepdogs

Parenting isn’t easy. At CTS we regularly gather with the parents of middle school and senior high youth to explore topics of current interest, share parenting joys, questions and concerns, and offer mutual support to each other.

We’ve discussed such issues as teen driving, bullying, dealing with over-scheduled lives, boy/girl sleepovers and, recently, the controversy over Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother.

Why Sheepdogs? Our youth refer to themselves in various contexts as the sheep in Christ’s flock. Jesus is the shepherd and parents are the sheepdogs.

Check the Calendar or the Youth & Family Ministry Newsletter for meeting dates.

“Every child deserves at least one or two full-time youth ministers…

Their names are Mom and Dad.”
